This weekend was a lot of fun...though it didn't start out that way. I unfortunately jammed my fingers in our door...ouch! Aaron made me put my fingers in ice which helped with the swelling but one of them is definitely starting to bruise :(
On Friday night we decided to have a little campout in our living room. We brought out the mattress, made a fort out of blankets and chairs and we watched "White Christmas". It was so fun!
Saturday night was our Ward Christmas Party. It was a nice dinner with some entertainment. Aaron sang and represented the Elder's Quorum. He did a great job singing a Christmas Medley (thanks Melanie for playing!). The ward was still raving about it the next day!
For the ward party they had a little donation table to give Christmas decorations that you don't use any more to some of us poor newlyweds...these are what we came away with...cute stockings! :)
We then had a brilliant idea! We grabbed some candy canes and packed up some cocoa and we went up to the top of the mountain (if you remember
here) and decided to look at all the Christmas lights from miles around. Loved it! (Sometimes I seriously think I am living in a movie or a fairy tale!)
We then drove around afterwards looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights. Let me tell you folks...life if good! :)
