A Bennett Post

Well....since nothing exciting is going on in our lives AND because my phone is dumb and says it is "full" (though it most definitely is not!) and it won't let me take pictures anymore and so I downloaded what I had and they were all of Bennett (surprise, surprise). So here is a post about our cute growing boy.

He rarely sits still to snuggle (unless I am rocking him to sleep) and so this must of been on a "sick" day where he actually sat next to me and cuddled. Heaven, I tell you!
We are still living in Grandma's house and still occasionally give him baths in the bath that he is way too small for!
Grandma has a book with pictures of the family members and Bennett loves looking through it.
Oh, ya know, just a Bennett and Mom "selfie" while making dinner.
We went shopping the other weekend at Station Park and Bennett was being super helpful by organizing the clothes at Old Navy.
Just catching up on his reading while at the DI.
 Sleepy boy.
Haha, these pictures make me laugh! I love that his hands are up in the air and he is zoned out.
Bennett loves listening to Grandmas recorded voice on this book she gave him.
Waiting to pick up dad from the Frontrunner Train Station. Bennett loves driving the car and kept honking at the people walking past.
Breakfast time, especially when dad is home, is the best!
And lunch time is pretty good too.
 I call these....Bennett Selfies.
Looking at the book again. He loves his Grandma and Grandpa Hansen.
We woke up one morning to find Bennett with one arm out of his sleeve. How he did that I have no idea because it is fully zipped and buttoned at the top! Ha! He never ceases to amaze me!
Man, we take lots of pictures at meal time!
Bennett loves to get into and on top of anything (especially things he isn't supposed to) and here he is in Grandma's office, climbing on her printer, to get to the keyboard. He must be finishing an assignment or something ;) AND....for the record...Dad dressed him this day ;)
There you go, you have now had your Bennett fill for the day!

Sochi Olympics 2014

We had an Olympic Opening Ceremonies party on Friday. Jan had Grandma at her house for the weekend and so we invited Carlie and Aaron to come over and hang out. We made an awesome Olympic rings pizza.
We also had some homemade root-beer, homemade salsa with chips and some yummy churros. What a feast ;) We watched the Opening Ceremonies, and mainly focused on the countries and all of their cool outfits. Carlie and Aaron were able to stay the night. The next morning we had waffles with caramel syrup and then the girls hung out and watched TV while the boys did homework. It was so nice to have them visit and to just relax with them at our house. Can't wait to live closer to them when we move back to Provo!

The 12 Dates of Christmas-February

We went on our February date on February 1st. It worked out perfect. We first went to go meet my new cousin June, congrats Jer and Deeann! She is a doll!
Then, for our date, we went to the Hill Aerospace Museum, in Ogden. It was so fun! (And it was FREE! Yes!) There were tons of planes outside and then once you got inside there were two large hangers with planes everywhere on the ground and hung in the air. From the Wright Brothers to Air Force One to the fastest plane that can fly across the US in an hour! Amazing!
 If it only said "Aubrie"...
An Air Force One plane...it was way small compared to the plane the President goes on now!
Aaron trying to get Bennett to safety on this awesome Helicopter.
The fastest plane.
They had a cool kids area where you could try on costumes. Bennett didn't mind the costume but didn't want to pose for pictures. Astronaut Bennett (maybe a future career? Haha).
And then he had to try on the Top Gun hat.
There were also places where you could pretend to fly the jets.
Aaron even got a chance to pretend to fly a jet...and then Bennett had to join him.
And the airplane simulator game from the olden days.
And one more time flying the planes but this time with the costume.
It was a great date! If anyone is in the area you should really check it out! Afterwards we stopped at WinCo for our "Monthly Shopping Trip" that Aaron and Bennett love (not!) and returned home happy and grateful for the chance to get out of the house and go on a little date.
