Another Weekend Adventure:

On Friday night my ward had a "Campout" at my Bishop's Cabin in Heber. Aaron was going to meet us up there later after work and so I headed up with Carlie and Emily. It turns out it is way far up a mountain, we had to stop and park at a certain place because there was a big water ditch, and wait for someone in our ward who had a large truck to get us across and drive us 2 miles up to the cabin.
I didn't know this before and so I was trying to communicate this to Aaron through text, while having so service. I didn't know when he would arrive, how we could go get him or anything! Once I got to the cabin though I found a spot with some service so I glued myself there, probably sent 150 texts trying to get a hold of him and see where he was and I worried non stop. It got dark and still no sign of him. I almost took my Counselors truck to go find him and help him get across but luckily, right before I did, he showed up! He had found it and his car had made it through all the rocky terrain. What a relief! I ran up to his car and didn't let him go! We went inside, finally got him some dinner...
and then we went outside with my ward to make some yummy s'mores. We decided to put Reeses Peanut Butter Cups in them and let me tell you, Oh Man! Yum!
We then went inside and joined some of my roommates and others in our ward for a fun game of "catch phrase". I think we played for hours, but it was so much fun! I swear that Aaron and I had the advantage being engaged and all because we were on the same "wave-length" and guessing each other's answers at an unbelievable speed :)
We then just hung out at the cabin the rest of the night, watched others playing games, snacked on Graham Crakers, got eaten by mosquitos, set up Aaron's sleeping stuff for that night and then finally headed to bed between the hours of 2-3am! (A little past Aaron's bed time). Luckily the girls got to sleep inside but the boys slept out on the deck.
The next morning the boys woke up quite early and so Aaron just hung out until I got up :) I then met him outside and we waited for a yummy pancake breakfast, which we gobbled up quick. (Below are pictures of us in the morning, since I felt like we hadn't taken many, but it seems they always just turn out kind of silly when we take them ourselves).
Thanks Chuck and Aaron ;)
We drove back to Provo right after breakfast (and thankfully Aaron's car survived the water again). We left early with the intention to do a 10 page paper for our marriage class but we were both so tired that we sat down and watched Tangled and then made lunch together. We were determined though that at night we would do our paper, so Aaron came over, and we did our paper did this...
We sat next to each other on my couch and played around Skyping each other and tried different backgrounds and effects. It was quite fun...but not very productive.
So we then started to work on our papers...psych! We decided to make a peach banana smoothie instead!
By that time it was too late to start on our papers so we watched all the videos of me on my Facebook, talked a little and then said goodnight...I swear, someday we will be productive! (I hope!).

Oh, and P.S. 20 days until we get married, no big deal :) YAY!

Happy 24th Weekend!

On Friday we really didn't have any plans so we accompanied Carlie, as her chaperone, to the Young Ambassadors Camp End of the Week Show. It was actually quite good and there was some amazing talent! Then on Saturday I got up early with Aaron as we took the "work" truck to pick up Steve's Jet Skis and return them to the cabin. It was sure fun! We also had a chance to catch some much needed sun on Saturday (as you will soon realize from our red/tan-ish complexions). We then spent Saturday Night at the library...I know, that is what cool couples do, right?
Can you see our burn/tan?
Ok...so my body is a tad uneven in the tan department...
That day Linlea was also nice enough to bring us by these yummy cupcakes that we were so excited about because it meant...26 days until we get married! Woo Hoo! Now THAT is something to celebrate!
He is SO dark!
On Sunday we both attended each others wards and then decided we wanted to make a yummy treat...with no yummy ingredients in either of our pantrys...we scrounged though and came up with ingredients for Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies. YUM!
Now...to back track a little (since I didn't take picture to document it...) On Saturday we also recieved our own WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT in the mail!!! I had to wait for Aaron to open it, but it was SO cool to put it on our fridge along with the rest of the world!
We also FINALLY addressed and sealed all the thank you notes for the bridal showers I/We have attended and man, was that a lot...which we are so grateful for!
Ok...now on to the fun part :) We woke up early Monday morning, I went over to Aaron's apartment and we made yummy pancakes.
All in preparation for our stake out at the Spanish Fork Parade. We put them in a "cooler", picked up some syrup on the way and we were off. We pulled into Spanish Fork and found a great place to sit on the side of the road. Prime location for Salt Water Taffy catching!
We then pulled out our yummy breakfast, poured on the syrup and waited anxiously for the parade to start!
The parade finally started and it was so fun! They had lots of great floats, talents, cars but NO taffy! What is up with that!?! Seriously, I was so disappointed! What is a parade without taffy? We may have to scout out some other places next year. There were though lots of loud truck and gun shooting...which I didn't like.
And can I just tell you...Aaron is so glad that I didn't JOHN DEERE him while he was on his mission!?! Haha. I am so funny!
From the parade though we did get some free Otter Pops! YUM!
After we walked around Spanish Fork. We went to the Fire Station and then we walked around the Food Vendors, Street Vendors and the Carnival. It is fun and easy to go when you have no money to spend! :)

Afterwards we went back to my apartment and ate lunch (which consisted of the leftover pancakes we made), watched a movie and then Aaron came over later, we made a (not so) yummy dinner and then headed into Spanish Fork again to meet up with the von Bose family. As soon as we pulled in it started raining, hard core! We quickly helped the family get out of the rain and we sat in the car eating dinner and playing games. It was SO fun!
But how long can you really expect 5 little girls to stay in a car??? So we played outside for a couple of hours, in the pouring rain. It was such a fun experience!
I wish you could tell how hard it was raining. We were all soaked from head to toe! Thankfully it stopped raining right at the fireworks started at about 11. We all huddled together on blankets and chairs and watched the amazing show!
...while still being soaking wet! We then drove back late into Provo and were sad to see such a fun weekend come to an end...but in 4 more weekends we will be married...so bring it on! :)

I almost forgot...my FAVORITE picture of the whole weekend (I am serious!). Do I have a cute fiance or what? :)

Potter, Nutella and Llama's, Oh My!

Oh man, where do I begin...let's start with Thursday. Aaron and I both had midterms this week and so we studied our butts off in order to have a fun early weekend. We both finished our tests Thursday afternoon and then we met up with Christopher and Carlie to go to...HARRY POTTER!!! It was awesome! We all dressed up in matching outfits, capes, brooms and badges!
Can you tell what we are??? A Quittich Team!!! (Gryffindor, of course!) Each of our red capes said what character we were. Take a guess...ok, I will just tell you. We were:
Aaron was THE Harry Potter! (He actually looks like him, right? Except he is SO much better looking!)
I was Ginny Weasley...no I do not have red, straight hair, but I get to date (and marry) Harry Potter, right? (And have Justin Bieber looking-ish child!)
Christopher was Ron Weasley...once again, no resemblance.
And lastly, Carlie was Hermione Granger...who she kind of looks like. So it worked out perfectly!
Below are a "couple" (haha) pictures of us waiting outside the theater. We went to the one in American Fork because we waited last minute to get our tickets. We went to the 12:15 showing :)
After waiting in line for a couple hours and knowing we had a long night a head of us, we sent Carlie and Chris on a special mission...to get us some food...and they came back with some yummy Arby's sandwiches.
We then, of course, had to take some pictures of us riding on our brooms...in the air. I would definitely say they are the most epic jumping pictures we have ever taken! Chris and Carlie did so good...I just couldn't seem to get high (or get any part of my body to cooperate!)
Like my hair??? ;)
We finally were let into the theater...around midnight! The theater was quite packed so we sat together in the back row of the front section, it was epic! It was an intense movie filled with lots of hand squeezing, occasional eye closing, anxious gasping, definitely crying and great applauding.
The movie was so gripping that we were suprisingly not tired after the movie was over (about 2:30am) and so we decided to follow through with the rest of our plan...go to IHOP!!! What a great decision!
We were joined by other Harry Potter goers and it made for a really late and fun evening...or morning! I will now tell you the creative breakfast items that we ordered. Read carefully so you don't miss out!!!
The QUAFFLE WAFFLE!!! Complete with BLUDGER bacon and HOGWARTS huevos :)
POTTER PANCAKES!
So...after that we drove home and got in our beds about 4:30am. Luckily Carlie and I didn't have class or work...but the others boys did, which made for a LONG day, I am sure. Then later that day, Friday, I asked Aaron out on our second date of the week...it was a "London Date". We doubled with my friend Kristen from London and her date and we all wore London shirts...
And then, we made yummy waffles...and what did we put on them do you ask? N-U-T-E-L-L-A! YUM!!!
They were delicious! Truly London-esque. We then watched the movie Kristen and I adore and the one that brought us together in London and solidified our friendship..."Winning London", that's right, Mary-Kate and Ashley baby! The boys got a kick out of us quoting the whole movie and knowing all the songs in the soundtrack. Aaron was a good sport about it all and now I can't wait for our "New York Date" where we make pizza and ride around in taxis!

The next day I asked Aaron out on ANOTHER date (I know, 3 in a row! I'm pro! Haha). We went to the...LLAMA FEST!!!
What is it you may ask? Truthfully, I am not sure. But we wanted to check it out, so we did! It was at this "temple" in Spanish Fork.
So...what did we do as soon as we got there? We went and found the Llamas of course! They were under this pavillion being judged. They were so cool looking! We even got some great pictures with them.
Engagement picture? Yeah? What do you think?
Carlie slapped a Llama's Butt... we then found another Llama outside that was super friendly. Her name was Burla. She had a great smile and I even got to hold her leash.
We then pretended to kiss Burla and right as we about took the picture she moved towards me and almost kissed me...that's why I am freaking out...and Aaron was too, because who wants to kiss "llama lips"?
We walked around a little more, watched some Llama races and took more pictures around the cool temple.
The Group: Aaron, Aubrie, Carlie, Rochelle, Emily
Today we went to church and then had a fun time eating dinner at Linlea and Heath's! It was good to see them and catch up! (...the 4th date I planned this week...next week it's Aaron's turn!) Love You!
