Aaron found us this great car seat at a garage sale for $5! What a steal!
That is an awesome steal!!! I'm not trying to be a downer and I'm definitely not judging, I just want to let you in on a new parent tip. Mostly, because I found out way after the fact. Many people (including doctors) suggest not buying used car seats. The reason being is because you don't know first hand what the history of the car seat is. Car seats that have been in car accidents, even small fender benders could have cracks or damage not noticeable to the human eye. Just don't want you to use a car seat without knowing that info. What you do now that you know is totally up to you and I COMPLETELY don't judge. :) we used a hand-me-down car seat from a friend and had no idea about that info. We also got rear ended (at like 5mph) so now the car seat is now technically expired but I can't say that'll change anything. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. It's a SUPER cute car seat and I LOVE the colors. I cant wait to meet (via blog and Facebook) your little guy when he arrives! I'm so excited for you and Aaron! Please don't be mad at me for telling you that. :(
