Happy Birthday Ethan!

Happy Birthday to my little brother Ethan! Congrats on being 14 years old today! Wish were there to celebrate with you!

School Carnival

We had a school carnival at the school where I teach and each class was asked to make a scarecrow that could be displayed and sold at an auction. The 1st grade team decided to do a Dr. Seuss theme and I chose the Cat In The Hat. We were given some paper, pumpkin for its head and a yard stick. Thankfully my class donated supplies and here is how our cute guy turned out!

 Here is the whole 1st grade team's scarecrows! They looked great! Ignore my extra plump, a little too chucky in some of the wrong places Cat in the Hat. I couldn't get him to sit up properly outside.

Pregnancy Cravings.

Made Aaron's favorite orange cookies and listened to Christmas music while doing it.

Attended the Park City Hansen Girls Retreat. Hanging with some pretty crazy ladies.

Aaron found us this great car seat at a garage sale for $5! What a steal!

Turning the big 2-3!

Aaron turned 23 on September 13th! Woo Hoo! So old! We celebrated in normal fashion with breakfast in bed with pancakes shaped as your birthday numbers. I am pretty proud I got them on my first try!

 It was fun to enjoy a real breakfast together before we headed out for our day!

 I packed Aaron a special lunch in a present bag!

 Aaron didn't get home until about 7:30 from school and (of course!) he caught a cold on his birthday and felt sick! Just like last year! I made homemade Cafe Rio but unfortunately he couldn't taste any of it! Haha, oh well!

 The Birthday Wall!

 I did an "Olympic" themed birthday wall this year. Yes, some of them may be a stretch, but we both got a good laugh out of them!

Labor Day "Camp Out"

Aaron and I had talked about possibly going camping on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend but some things came up and we weren't able to go. Instead, we decided to put our tent up in our front room and "camp-out" there.

We even had a fake fire going on the TV...too bad we couldn't roast marshmallows on it!

The next day we went up Provo Canyon to Sundance. It was so fun and beautiful! The leaves hadn't really begun to change yet and so we are excited to go up there again soon!

We sat on an edge of this man made lake and ate our packed lunches and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

We hiked around a little bit and then just relaxed the rest of the day. It was perfect!

BYU Football Game #2

Aaron and I were lucky enough to attend BYU's first football game (a couple of weeks ago). His sweet friend gave us some tickets and we were so excited! This was only our second game together and we were excited to get the chance to go!

We were even able to meet up with some family during half time!

The game didn't get over until almost midnight but we loved every minute of it! Go Cougs!

Feeling like Meg Ryan

Remember the part in You've Got Mail when Meg Ryan is sick and there are tissues all around her house and in her robe? 

Well, that is exactly what our house is like right now.

2 people sick with colds = lots of used tissues.

"My" Tupperware

Now that Aaron is done working at the Farm he finally brought back to me all of "my" tupperware (or so I call it) that I sent with him for lunch. I am so grateful to know they are not missing and to have more containers now in my house to store food! Thanks Aaron! :)
