Park City Va-Ca

The day after Graduation Aaron and I headed up to Park City for the week. A much needed vacation! My grandparents found a great deal and were nice enough to get this for us! We LOVED it! Here is what we did!
1. We relaxed, ate lots of candy, watched movies and drank Martinelli's
2. We played "Ticket To Ride" our new favorite game.
3. We took walks down Main Street and decided we want to live there someday.
4.We did a little Hunger Games reenactment in the mining town of Park City
5. Did some more exploring down Main Street
6. Stayed in the only room in the whole complex without air conditioning. Solution? Put black bean cans in the window to keep them open.
7. More exploring of Park City.
8. We enjoyed the outside bonfires
9. Ate left over Cafe Rio dinner
10. Slept in until 10am...in a KING SIZE BED (we have a full size)...and watched Boy Meets World.
11. Went to the pool and hot tubs daily and got some pretty cool hair from it ;)
12. Pretended to read while we enjoyed the bonfire again.
13. Matt and Lauren came up on Friday and we partied with them. We went out to dinner...
14. We played a dancing game on the Wii...hilarious!
15. We woke up and had breakfast of waffles and sausage and then went to the pool and shopping
It was a perfect little vacation for a previously crazy week and an even crazier two weeks following...details to follow.

Graduation

Yes! I DID IT! I graduated!!! I will give you a step-by-step, play-by-play of the weekend. So here it goes!

I met up with one of my best friends Stacie Rasmussen who I met Freshman year in one of my classes, realized we had 2 more together, sat by each other in every class, watched the moon at 4am for our Physical Science class together, licked rocks together, created "realistic" math word problems together and so much more. So it seemed perfect that we walked together.
We then met up with Emily who we also had classes together with and who I called on a daily basis about assignments that were due or just talk about everything.
We all walked into the Marriott Center, and sat also with McKenna! Jordan District for life!
I sat, luckily, at a good angle to see my family (yes, we are doing the Hunger Games symbol to find each other).
I had a great support system there including my parents, siblings, my grandparents, Aaron and his Mom.
We heard from Elder Oaks, great job as usual.
And now for the typical cap and gown pictures.
That night we got together with the grandparents and family at the Story Cabin and enjoyed games and yummy pizza.
On Friday I walked at 8:00 AM! Aaron and I arrived around 6:30! I wouldn't be lying if I told you when I woke up I thought about skipping walking because I was so tired! This is my mom coming to the front railing to take pictures of me walking in and I am a tad embarrassed ;)
Walking up to get my fake diploma...and I didn't fall!
Finally! I DID IT!
More pictures with the El Ed friends :)
My old roommate and El Ed graduate, Jen.
Gotta love the tent I am wearing :)
That day Melanie and all of her girls came as well as the Johnson (Stephen/Holly) family came all the way from Arizona (SO nice!) to see me graduate! It was great having them there!
We all gathered again at the Story Cabin for a fun celebration! We had a delicious chocolate cake.
My Mom/Aaron decorated a cute sign to congratulate me :)
We also enjoyed my mom's delicious and homemade Cafe Rio Salad!
Thanks everyone for all of your support! I really appreciate it! ...now I just need to get through Spring Term. ;)

Spring Term

Yes...I just graduated and yes...I am still at BYU taking another class :( Can I tell you how hard it is to want to go to school once you have graduated? Well, it is hard. Luckily I got a full-ride scholarship and so along with my required class, I am taking some fun classes. I am taking Tennis (don't worry...I hit myself in the face today with the racket and ball, it takes skill to do both at the same time). I am also taking Zumba (favorite class so far at BYU!) and I am taking Guitar (I am basically a pro now! Aaron and I have played together and I learn a new favorite song every day!)

Thankfully it is only a Term...off to class!
